Red Barn Coffee Roasters, based in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, is a wholesale roaster of specialty coffees. RBCR provides coffee for its four company-owned café locations. In addition to our cafés, Red Barn Coffee Roasters provides a full line of specialty coffees, including a large selection of organic/fair trade coffees, to wholesale, e-commerce, and mail-order customers. We will fulfill our customers’ expectations by selecting only the finest beans from around the world and roasting them in small batches to ensure the highest quality, greatest-tasting, freshest coffee available.”

Our History

During the winter of 1997, Mark and Lisa Verrochi established Red Barn Coffee Roasters and began roasting specialty coffee in an authentic New England style red barn in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, to be brewed and served in our own cafés.

“Our vision was to preserve a piece of small town New England and experience it in our cafés. We felt it was important to create a warm and relaxing local environment for our customers to meet, gather, and socialize.”

As people experienced our coffees, our reputation for roasting great coffee began to grow. Demand for supplying local coffee shops with our coffee soon followed. RBCR began roasting coffee for many local coffee shops, most of whom also sell RBCR whole-bean coffee by the pound.

Today RBCR is one of the area’s largest specialty coffeeroaster retailer-wholesalers. Our customers demand high-quality, great tasting coffee. Our Roastmaster, William Trull, with more than 30 years experience, fulfills those expectations with every pound of coffee by selecting only the finest coffee beans from around the world. Red Barn feels that by roasting in small batches our customers are assured the best coffee available.

You can buy any of our coffees at any one of our café locations listed on the right, or buy your coffee online. For freshness value, we only offer whole bean coffee online; however, you can have your coffee ground to order at any one of our cafés.
