That’s what we do in every step of our process. We pay better than fair trade prices to ensure the highest quality beans for your coffee and the quality of life for our farmers and their families. By working directly with the farming community, we know where our coffee comes from. This is our cause-driven, relationship-focused approach to coffee production. Together, we’re thinking beyond the bean.
SUPPORTING RURAL FARMERS WITH FAIR PRICE SUPPORT
The Red Barn/MadreMonte joint venture marries the attributes of a family roaster, distributor, retailer with a unique reach into Colombian Campesinos. The primary goal of the movement is to educate the world and build an understanding of where the coffee comes from, how it is grown and delivered to the world. This model will further the education of coffee consumers, make more people aware of the rural oppression of coffee growers in Latin and South America (our neighbors), and provide the consumer with a chance to enjoy a very unique and personal experience in their morning cup as they “Wake Up to a Better World.™”
